So, you want to be a DragonKnight
Many guildes are exclusive with many different requirements allotted for membership. We are no different in that aspect, however, the requirements we have are far more user friendly and people oriented. Simply put, we want to cater to the players who prefer good people to play with without all the BS.
A lot of exclusive guilds require that all of your toons are in the guild. Others require you have two or even three TR level 20 toons for considerations. We could care less.
Therefore, if you would like to be a DragonKnight, here is what we require, and more importantly, what we offer that sets us apart.
1). Character should be Adventurer level 3-20 with a high desire to play DDO and stick to it. Alternatively, if you are champion level 7-20 with the same desire. Heo and Legend have no level requirements. Any toon outside of those listed parameters will be considered on a case by case basis by the Commander and/or the Council only.
2). Unlike most guilds, you ARE allowed to have toons in other organizations outside of Les DragonKnights. However, it is truly preferable that your main is with us... -and your heart is with us. If the guild needs your toon in a quest, for example, you should not hesitate. DragonKnights always stick together.
By the same token, you are also allowed to have as many Alts within this guild as you would like. The more the merrier.
3). We do not discriminate based on Race, Class, nor Build. If your toon is comfortable for you, and fun to play for you? That is all that is important. There are however, guild trainers designated to assist you with any help needed for building or levelling a character. Take advantage.
4). Officers are appointed by the Commander only. The council can vote and recommend someone to the Commander based on character level (13) and strength of caliber, knowledge, and disposition. Officers are not taken lightly, nor are they automatic, because everyone has a voice.
5). The Commander alone has the power in the guild. The council can generate ideas, propositions, and recommendations. But it is the Commanders role to have final say. You can call it a cross between a Democracy, and a Monarchy. Call it what you will, it works for us.
6). One of the main objectives of the Guild, and consequently, one of the draws to being a member, is the production of the Dragonscale Armors. Each main member will be assisted in aquirring thier very own suit of chosen color.
We realize it is not the BEST armor in the game, and you are by no means required to wear it. We have found however, that it is both beneficial and prestigious to wear, and in some cases, it actually is the best in the game.
To obtain this goal, everyone in the guild should be running the quest as often as desired to obtain the ingredients when a new member comes of age around level 12-14. This has always worked out very well to get someone in thier desired color within a week or two.
(Note that any other alts aside from your main within the guild will be required to obtain the ingredients on thier own, however it is always encouraged to help if you can).
If becoming a member of Les DragonKnights appeals to you, please dont hesitate to leave us a message or contact an officer directly.
